Figured out how to get Joey to and from New Zealand. Went to lunch at Broken Yolk with Karen, interesting conversation about her quilting. Went and saw the quilt show at the Art Center—quilt work by Niraja Lorenz, daughter of Edward Norton Lorenz. Came home and worked on a composite of Joey that turned out well, it became a BR Gallery post for mid to late January. Started Pre-New Zealand workouts. Beer at Suds with Cathy, Michael, Kim, Amelia, Tim, and Mary. Skipped yoga in the evening. Watched Ancient Civilizations. Some Hogan's Heroes. Some Firefly. Started watching the Phoenician Scheme. Joey arrived around midnight, hung out and talked for a few hours.
